Edited: I have no idea why I didn’t publish this post in August. Better late than never? I wound up reading 3 of the 5 titles.
For my July TBR I stated that the first 5 books I read in July and August would be “older”, just meaning, published in 2017 or prior. I did pretty good with that in July.
Here are the 5 books that are not new releases I plan to read in August.
Lilac Girls – Martha Hall Kelly
The Kitchen House – Kathleen Grissom
Reconstructing Amelia – Kimberly McCreight
Dark Matter – Blake Crouch
The Secrets She Keeps – Michael Robotham
And since I already started Lilac Girls in July I am going to be bold and pick one more. Here is my bonus title that would make these non-new releases a total of six:
In The Woods – Tana French
When I made my July list I said it would be the first five books that I read that would be my older titles. Well, since it is my list I can change my mind. I am no longer shooting for it to be the first five, but just at any point in the month. Making it the first five is just not realistic with me working with library due dates and such.
I have been carrying The Kitchen House around with me for about a month now. I have had to renew it once and I now have the ebook on my kindle. I just didn’t get to it this month, but I plan on it being one of the first from this list in August.
