My husband and I love to eat out. I especially love it as I get a delicious meal with a night off in the kitchen.
We don’t eat out very often though because, well, it is expensive. With college tuition bills and everything else expense wise that comes with teens – we just don’t dine in restaurants much.
Except for Denver Restaurant Week. DRW was once 2 meals for $52.80 (Denver is at 5280 feet – the mile high city) however times have changed and instead it is $30 each now after a slight price hike. This is still quite the deal for many of the top spots in town.
I have heard that downtown Denver’s Fago de Chao is one of the best deals for the price in the entire line up. Some of our past favorites have been Tamayo, Vesta Dipping Grill, Caiptal Grille and Del Friscos. This year however we have decided to try some places that are new to us and ones we just haven’t visited during Denver Restaurant Week. We haven’t made our final decisions yet but we are thinking about D Bar Denver, Elways – Cherry Creek, Zengo, Panzano, Seasons 52 and Venice.
We won’t go to all of these, we are still narrowing it down, but that is what we are deciding on at this point. Any goodies we should still be considering? What are your favorites?
